This route focuses on the north western part of China. Starting from the capital city Beijing, tour the world famous Forbidden City and Great Wall. Going to Xian and Dunhuang, visit the most important sites on the Silk Road. Going to Yungang Grottoes and Mogao Caves, experience the most famous grottoes culture in China.
Arrive Beijing, arrival transfer to a five star hotel for three nights. Rest of the day at leisure.

Beijing
Touring to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Temple of Heaven and Hongqiao Market, Beijing Duck dinner. Attend an evening performance of Beijing Opera. (B/L/D)
Day 03.
Great Wall Excursion
Full day touring to the Badaling section of the Great Wall, the Ming Tombs, and Sacred Road. (B/L)
Day 04.
Beijing--Datong by train
Morning Hutong tour with pedicab, the Summer Palace. Middle afternoon departure transfer to the railway station for the train from Beijing to Datong, arrival met and transferred to the hotel for three nights. (B/L)

Full day touring to the Yungang Grottoes, Nine-Dragon Screen. (B/L)
Day 06.
Datong—Yingxian--Datong
Full day tour of Yingxian Wooden Pagoda, Overhanging Temple with private guide, car and driver. (B/L)
Day 07.
Datong—Beijing by train—Xian by air
Departure transfer to the railway station for the morning train from Datong to Beijing (five hours), arrival met by Beijing guide and driver and transferred to Beijing airport for the flight from Beijing to Xian, arrival met by Xian guide and driver and transferred to the hotel for two nights. Day 08.
Xian
Full day touring to the Terra-cotta Warriors, Shaanxi Provincial Museum, Big Goose Pagoda, the City Wall, Muslim Quarters and the Great Mosque. Dumpling Dinner served at local restaurant. Attend an evening performance of Tang Dynasty Show. (B/L/D)
Day 09.
Xian—Dunhuang by air
Departure transfer to the airport for the morning flight from Xian to Dunhuang, arrival met and transferred to the hotel for two nights, touring the local markets. (B/L)
Day 10.
Dunhuang
Touring to the Mogao Caves, and excursion to the Singing Sand Mountain by camel, Crescent Moon Spring. (B/L)
Day 11.
Dunhuang—Beijing by air
Morning half day tour to the White Horse Temple, Dunhuang Museum. Afternoon departure transfer to the airport for the middle afternoon flight from Dunhuang to Beijing, arrival met and transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay. Free time. (B/L)
Day 12.
Depart Beijing
Departure transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
