Trip Overview
Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang is one of the three most famous cave lithoglyph in China. It started more than 1,500 years ago and took more than 400 years to build. More than 2,100 grotto niches, 100,000 statues, and 3,600 inscription signatures still exist today. These art pieces with detailed Buddhism religious topics represent the highest level in Chinese grotto niche art. Longmen Grottoes is an AAAAA tourist attraction of China and International UNESCO named the world's cultural heritage.
